Elective home education

Devon’s Family Hubs – Exciting things are happening in Devon to improve support for families with children. Visit our Family Wellbeing page to find out more

These pages provide information for parents and carers in Devon who are considering educating their child(ren) at home; as well as ongoing support for existing home educators.

Parents can choose to complete a voluntary registration form and their child can fill in a student voice form which will assist the Elective Home Education team with their offer of support.

The online change of circumstances form will enable you to inform us of any changes to your circumstances. This may be a new home address, email address, or phone number, for example, and will ensure your child’s record is kept up to date.

If you require any further information or advice about home education please contact the Devon Elective Home Education Team on 01392 287230 or email electivehomeeducation@devon.gov.uk.
