(FOOTPATH No. 58, AXMINSTER AND FOOTPATH No. 22, KILMINGTON)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on 24th June 2022 and would have expired on 23rd December 2023.
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until 23rd December 2024 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
Public rights of way affected:
AXMINSTER FOOTPATH No. 58 and KILMINGTON FOOTPATH No. 22 where they cross the ‘Isle of Man’ Footbridge over the River Axe.

There is no alternative route.
The closure is necessary due to a dangerous bridge.
