Sue Ryder has many stores in Devon where you can volunteer for a wide range of positions to help you get experience in retail and customer service. Roles include:
- Merchandising
- Creating eye-catching displays
- Till and customer service (fluency in English required)
- Sorting, pricing, tagging, and organising donated items
- Specialized roles in social media, eBay, photography, and more.

Sign up and book a taster session:

Leah can arrange an hour-long taster session where you get the chance to meet the team and ask any questions. You can arrange a taster session yourself, or get someone to help you, for example your English teacher or an organisation that supports speakers of other languages.
Paperwork to join Sue Ryder is really simple. They have a basic form which you can complete in the store. The only information they need is:
- Name
- Contact number
- Email address
- Postcode
- Availability
- Level of English proficiency
- anything else that may be relevent e.g. contact via whatsapp
Requirements:
Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Benefits to Volunteers:
