About employment hubs
Our skilled advisors work with you to identify opportunities and career pathways, helping you on the next step of your employment, learning or skills journey. We work with other organisations to give you the confidence and clarity you need, supporting you to move forward to what you want to do next.
We have seven physical hubs in the county, providing in-person support to help you find out about different career options, jobs, and learning opportunities.
Whether you’re a young person looking for career opportunities or an adult looking to retrain, find a new path or get back to work, our advisors can work with you for as long as you need.
We offer the following services:
- CV building and updates, job searching, writing a personal statement and interview prep
- Helping you to identify your key strengths and abilities
- Changing jobs or career
- Sourcing additional or further training and learning
- We work at your pace and around your needs for as long as you need us
- In-work support and employer engagement if you have a disability or long-term health condition
How to access the hubs
- An in-person service with locations across Devon
- A virtual service providing a lighter touch approach; signposting to sources of information, support and advice to both individuals, and employers looking to recruit and develop their business.
- A self-serve service via the skills and employment online Hub. Where we can signpost you to sources of information, active programmes from a range of partners, and information on how to access the in-person and virtual service support. This self-serve service provides advice to both individuals and employers looking to recruit and develop their business.
