Eddystone Trust
The Eddystone Trust are a Southwest based sexual health and HIV charity, working within the community, assisting Devon residents in overcoming barriers to maintaining good sexual health and accessing sexual health services. Our aim is to empower them with knowledge and information and support them to make choices around their sexual health and sexual well-being, that are right for them.
Services we offer include free, rapid HIV testing that can provide a result within 20 minutes and is available both online and in person. We also offer rapid in-person syphilis testing and support to access and complete a sexual health screen. We provide support to access free condoms, lube, and other forms of HIV Prevention such as PrEP and PEP.
Recognising that the reasons people struggle to maintain good sexual health and engage with services can be complex and personal. We offer a non-judgmental and person-centred service providing individuals with the space they need to overcome barriers. This can take the form of a ‘one-off’ brief intervention or ongoing behaviour change work for those engaging in activities likely to have a negative impact on sexual health, including chemsex.
We also support and advocate for those living with HIV, providing a range of services including peer support groups. support around diagnosis, and assistance to access specialist HIV clinics.
