For the safety of the public and site staff, Clapperbrook Lane East is currently closed to vehicular traffic. However, it remains open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The road has been narrowed to separate the public from the work force and we would urge all pedestrians and cyclists using the restricted section of road to take extra care and be considerate of others.
Vehicles wanting to get to The Double Locks pub or Riverside Valley Park can do so from Haven Road and Water Lane, with access along a recently widened tow path to Salmonpool Swingbridge, over the canal. The tow path remains open for pedestrians and cyclists. Cycle parking facilities are available at The Double Locks pub.
