Members’ Carers Allowance review June 2017 County Councillors (‘Members’) may claim expenses to cover the cost of care for a dependant when attending an ‘approved duty’ such as a Council Committee meeting. This assessment has reviewed the current scheme including the rates allocated for child and adult care.
