Hugo Burge Foundation

The Hugo Burge Foundation is dedicated to supporting the arts, crafts and creative industries across the UK.

Grant funding is distributed through three separate programmes:

Creative Education – up to £15,000 for organisations that are creating opportunities for young people (0-29) to engage and build their creative skills and knowledge. Applicants can include schools, local authorities, community groups, charities, museum/gallery spaces, educational institutions and arts organisations.

Creative Communities – up to £15,000 for developing and delivering initiatives that focus on culture and creative arts in the local area. Organisations such as festivals, charities, arts organisations, and community groups can apply.

Creative Individuals – up to £5,000 for individuals seeking support for the development of artistic projects or practice.

The Hugo Burge Foundation will generally provide unrestricted funding for organisations that are having an impact in the cultural sector, so that they can become more resilient and effective.
