Help to Grow

The government is launching a new programme to provide small businesses with access to digital and management services. Help to Grow will provide access to management training, technology advice and discounted software to improve productivity. The scheme will be open to UK businesses from any sector that have been operating for more than 1 year, with between 5 to 249 employees.

Help to Grow will operate two schemes:

Help to Grow Management will offer a 12 week-programme to help small business leaders to develop their strategic skills with key modules covering financial management, innovation and digital adoption. The programme is 90% subsidised by government – participants will be charged £750. The scheme will launch in June 2021.

Help to Grow Digital will provide small businesses with free impartial advice on how technology can boost their performance through a new online platform. Eligible businesses will also be able to get a discount of up to 50% on the costs of approved software, worth up to £5,000. The scheme will launch in Autumn 2021.

Small businesses can register their interest in the schemes now.
