The GSK Impact Awards and Community Health Programme are designed to recognise and reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health.
GSK Impact Awards
Applicants must target community health needs in the UK – the judges will be looking for evidence of innovation, good management, partnership, achievement, community focus and ensuring that services are accessible to and focus on people in need. The assessment will focus on the work of the whole organisation rather than being about a particular project.
Up to 10 winners will receive £50,000 in unrestricted funding and there are also cash prizes of £5,000 for up to five runners-up. Award winners also receive other benefits including free training and development.
Registered charities that have existed for at least three years can apply. You must have a total annual income between £150,000 and £3 million.
GSK Community Health Programme
The GSK Community Health Programme is for small charities tackling health inequalities. It is open to registered charities that are at least a year old, located and working in the UK. Up to 10 charities will receive up to £10,000 plus access to training and development valued at £5,000.
Your charity must have an annual income between £20,000 and £150,000.
