Arts Council England (ACE) is the national development agency for creativity and culture, investing government and National Lottery funds in creative activity across all types of arts organisations and projects.
The following ACE funding programmes are currently open for applications:
National Lottery Project Grants – open to all individual artists, community and cultural organisations to support arts, museums and libraries projects. Funding is available for combined arts (including festivals and carnivals), dance, libraries, literature, music, museums, theatre and the visual arts. Individuals, arts organisations, museums, libraries and other organisations that use creativity and culture in their work can apply for grants up to £100,000. Organisations can also apply for grants over £100,000 for ambitious projects.
Developing Your Creative Practice – individual artists and creative practitioners across a range of disciplines can apply for a grant between £2,000 and £12,000 to support them in their own creative development: this could include research, time to create new work, travel, training, developing future ideas, networking or mentoring. Organisations are not eligible to apply.

ACE has also announced a new round of funding through its Creative People and Places Programme. This programme is for cultural activity and engagement in specific locations in England, including North Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. Find out more
