Agri-tech innovators can apply for funding for collaborative projects to advance product performance and reliability, and to develop or advance manufacturing and supply chain capability. The aim is to help get products to market, and to scale-up production in order to improve productivity and sustainability in agriculture, forestry, horticulture and aquaculture.
The type of products that are eligible for funding include robotic systems and equipment or automated sensing and observation systems that include data processing and intelligence systems.
There are two separate funding streams:
industrial research – for projects with total eligible costs between £250,000 and £750,000.
experimental development – for projects with total eligible costs be between £1million and £3million.
Projects must be collaborative and can be led by a UK registered business of any size.
