The PenCarrie Foundation supports charities and community organisations working with children and young people aged 0-21 years and their families in Devon.
The foundation is particularly interested in work that helps children and young people facing challenges to overcome barriers, build confidence, access opportunities and feel supported in their communities. The funding can therefore be used to fund a range of activities, such as:
- parenting programmes and family support services
- practical support eg. access to essentials such as food, clothing, baby supplies
- health and wellbeing support eg. counselling, opportunities for physical activity
- academic support
- skills and employment initiatives
- youth clubs
- services for vulnerable groups eg. homeless, young carers
You can apply for project grants, core or unrestricted grants and capital grants. You can apply for a small grant of up to £5,000 or a larger, multi-year grant.
Applications are accepted from registered and exempt charities, CIOs, and not-for-profit organisations such as social enterprises, CICs and co-operatives.
