Family hubs
Family hubs are a new way of bringing together all the support a family may need.
They serve as a central point of access for advice and support for all families with children aged 0-19 – or up to age 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). In Devon all our family hubs are currently managed by the charity Action For Children.
Family hubs provide a wide range of support to families, including parenting advice and support and support for young adults.
Support can be accessed:
- by phone: call the advice and guidance line on 0800 538 5458 . The advice line is open Monday to Friday: 10.00am to 4.00pm, and is free to call from UK landline and mobiles.
- online, for example in bite-size information sessions or webinars. See what’s available through the Devon digital services offer
- in person: some face-to-face services are currently available.
You can also complete a request to contact form, if you’d like someone to get in touch with you.
There are nine family hubs across Devon, and a network of outreach services is also being developed.
See the full range of support on offer on the Devon family hubs webpages.
