HAF Summer header

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is being delivered by a number of different individuals and organisations across Devon.

To access the programme, simply book a place through one of the providers listed below. All clubs will be operating for a minimum of four hours, including a hot meal. Please note that booking details differ depending on each provider. The schemes are fully inclusive and accessible, so please discuss your child’s needs with your chosen provider.

Ages: Primary and secondary

Activities provided: A wide range of sports and games, hands-on food preparation and making, arts and crafts, exciting enrichment activities, and a healthy hot lunch.

Food: Sausage and mash with runner beans and carrots. Roast Chicken with roast potatoes, broccoli and sweetcorn. Spaghetti Bolognese with salad. Fish fingers and chips with peas or beans. Water is available throughout the day, children must bring their own drink bottle.

Specific items: Children need to come dressed for being active and running around. They must have a refillable drinks bottle with them to use for their time on camp.

Activities provided: Daily activities include sports, team games, arts and crafts, cookery. One off activities include science workshop, animal encounter, Legomania

Healthy appetite and activities (Primary)

Ages: Primary

Venue area: Honiton

Activities provided: Daily – Football and Multi-sports activities, tag rugby, dodge ball, weekly themed Arts & Crafts, and Free play sessions. One-offs – Animal HQ visit, Local attraction trips, Magician and Entertainer, dance workshops, balloon modelling, World Record Holder Football Freestyler Dan Magness, Chef demonstrations, Nutrition and Activity Booklets, Emergency Services visits.

Mrs Snuggles Ultimate Children’s experience

Ages: Primary

Venue area: Exmouth

Activities provided: Activities vary your child could be taking part in the following activities – slimetastic slime making, arts and crafts, bath bomb making, chocolate making, trip to the beach, sensory play and role play, dinosaur play park, sensory garden, jewellery making or sand art.

Activities provided: A range of sporting activities such as gymnastics, archery, tag rugby, football, orienteering and more. Performing arts activities such as dance and drama. Well-being based sessions on healthy living, eating and drinking. Food preparation activities. Craft sessions themed around children’s favourite books!

Specific items: All children should wear suitable clothing for both indoor and outdoor physical activities. Children should bring a refillable water bottle and a sun hat.

Each day the children have the option of a jacket potato as stated above and the fillings include cheese, beans or butter.

Parents will need to inform Marc during registration what filling their child/ren would like before the food supplier is informed.

Activities provided: Our HAF camps at Rockbeare have a huge variety of sports activities all day, every day from 8.30am until 15.30pm! Your child may get the chance to take part in Glow in the Dark Dodgeball, Nerf gun battles, football, Laser Tag, hockey, arts and crafts, Magic and Circus skills, capture the flag, tennis, dodgeball, dance, tri-golf and cricket to name just a few!

Activities provided: Water sports such as stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and dragon boat racing, climbing, orienteering, food fun workshops, forest school, creative/drama workshops and multi-sports

Football Fun Factory **FULLY BOOKED BUT OPERATING A WAITING LIST**

Activities provided: Our Camps are action-packed with football fun! Your child will take part in our range of football inflatable activities. There will also be football games, skill games and team games such as tag and dodgeball. We also have arts and crafts, Magician and balloon modelling, Animals 2u South West, Dartmoor Zoo, Lego Workshop and Creation Station to name a few.

The Ark at Thomas Hall

Activities provided:  Activities included will be cooking, growing and planting your own fruit and vegetables, competitions, quizzes, treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, walks, nature activities, free play, water and sand play, water activities and arts and crafts. We will also have visits from South West Animals, Rainbow Gecko, a circus workshop and a science workshop (one-off activities)

Specific items: A sun hat and sun cream will be required for the hot weather and if colder then a jumper and coat. If it is wet and they wish to play outside then wellies/trainers and waterproofs can be used but not mandatory.

Kingwood Children @ Muddifords Court

Ages: Primary

Venue area:  Cullompton

Activities provided:  We will have a weekly theme (Pirates, Foraging, Go wild…) and a list of activities including growing food and developing our kitchen garden; cooking on the campfire; making woodland crafts and bushcraft; looking after the animals (4 mini Shetlands ponies, 2 goats, giants rabbits, guinea pigs, chicken) ; active and healthy lifestyles activities; trying our new sports and activities like archery, Pilates, Zumba, yoga or tennis. We also offer weekly games evenings and Lego clubs.
