In Devon, every baby, child and family will have the best possible start in life. Our Best Start Family Service brings together parenting support, health services and early education so families can easily find the right help, at the right time, close to home.
By working together across family hubs, neighbourhood health services, children’s services, SEND services, schools, early years settings and community and voluntary partners, we are making support more joined‑up, welcoming and easier to access. This helps families feel supported, included and confident as their children grow and develop.

We will offer caring, timely support to families, recognising that every family’s journey is different.
