Many schemes offer grants, discounts or savings to families with a child who has special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). See our support from national organisations and charities page for some suggestions of these.
The Max Card
Devon County Council offer a free discount card called the Max Card. It’s available to families with children aged 0-18 who have SEND, when they sign up to our Disability Register.

If you are the main parent and/or carer of a child or young person with SEND you can join our Disability Register. When you join we’ll send you a free Max card (valid for two years) as a thank you for helping us know about the different needs of our communities so that we can improve services.
The card allows eligible children and young people free or discounted admission to local and nationwide attractions.
For more information visit the Max Card website.
