Consultation outcome
During the formal consultation period, Devon County Council (DCC) received no objections. One consultation response was received which agreed with the proposed fee level changes.
DCC will now proceed to mobilise the changes for 1 April 2023.

Devon County Council is running a consultation on fee levels for street works permits which are required by those who work on its road network.
In 2021 we reduced our fee levels to ensure the scheme operated within cost neutral obligations. It was acknowledged that such a reduction would be time constrained as the fee levels were reduced to below the scheme’s operating costs.
We now proposes a return to the original year one permit fees to ensure its obligations continue being met.
The consultation will run for 4 weeks from 1 February 2023.
