Recycle Devon top-tips: Save time, money and reduce food waste this Christmas

Recycle Devon is encouraging residents to save time, money and food waste this Christmas by preparing and freezing festive food ahead of time.

Prepping and freezing food in the run up to Christmas means you can plan ahead for parties, gatherings and Christmas Day, giving you the gift of time on the day itself.

Freezing ahead isn’t just for planned occasions. Stress less about guests popping round unexpectedly by keeping some frozen Christmas treats and snacks in the freezer that can be reheated easily in minutes.

Recycle Devon is sharing freeze-ahead, low-cost and time-saving Christmas recipes throughout December and up to New Year’s Eve. Choose from a selection of delicious festive recipes such as crispy roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings, Christmas dinner vegetables, gravy, party food, desserts, cakes, biscuits, decadent drinks and more!

Simply follow Recycle Devon on Facebook, X and Instagram  to receive daily freeze ahead festive recipes and then sit back, relax and enjoy a stress-free Christmas.

Take part in the ‘Freeze It?’ quiz on the Recycle Devon website for a chance to WIN one of ten Food Saver Kits, kindly sponsored by RH Advertising. The quiz prize draw will take place at noon on 2nd January.
