Aerial view details recent work on Iron Bridge in Exeter

The newly refurbished Iron Bridge

Watch our bird’s eye view of some of the work carried out during our recent refurbishment of the Iron Bridge in Exeter.

Our engineering team took the opportunity to get some drone footage at different stages of the five-month project to capture how it shaped up and how the completed project looks.

The extensive scheme on the Grade II Listed bridge, which dates from 1834, was needed to protect the cast iron structure.

The existing concrete carriageway slab was extended to allow a new waterproof layer to be added to seal the bridge deck before resurfacing it.
