The National Lottery Community Fund has reopened its Social Enterprise Support Fund. The fund provides grants to help social enterprises rebuild from COVID-19: it is particularly interested in supporting social enterprises that reach the most marginalised communities and promote inclusion.
You can apply for funding to:
Help you get your social enterprise back on track – priority will be given to social enterprises that are normally substantially reliant on income from trading and have a clear plan for growing or returning to substantial income from trading.
Help you work with communities that are recovering – priority will be given to social enterprises that can demonstrate that they are working with communities that are disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and are supporting those communities to recover
You can apply for grants from £10,000 to £100,000. Most grants will be below £50,000.
Incorporated social enterprises with an asset lock can apply. This includes charitable companies, CIOs, CICs and CBSs. Companies Ltd by Guarantee, Companies Ltd by Shares, co-operative societies and other registered societies can also apply but should refer to the eligibility criteria for the fund.
