The Vinehill Trust provides grants for charities and other not-for-profit organisations in the UK. There are three areas of interest:
Music – for projects that encourage and support choral singing and organ scholarship for children and young people in schools, churches and the wider community; and for works to repair and restore pipe organs in churches, cathedrals, civic buildings, or concert venues.
Heritage – for historic building restoration projects that provide employment and training in traditional building crafts. There must be public access to the building.
Health – for projects that address acute conditions such as pre-hospital care, life-saving equipment and suicide prevention services; and for temporary focus areas that change each year. For applications up until 30 June 2027, the focus areas are:
- rehabilitation or aftercare for physical trauma or surgery
- promotion of wellbeing through the creation or enhancement of green spaces, including the creation or preservation of urban wildlife habitats and the environmental improvement of leftover space
- oral and dental health outreach, in particular provision of dental services for homeless and other vulnerable people and in rural areas
Grants from the Vinehill Trust are typically between £1,000 and £100,000 and can cover up to 75% of project costs. Applications can be made by well-managed not-for-profit organisations including registered charities and CICs. Public-sector organisations can be a partner in a health project but it needs to be led by another not-for-profit organisation.
