Registered charities can apply to the Thomas Wall Trust for grants towards projects that support people with skills ready for employment.
The trust provides grants up to £5,000 towards specific projects that improve communication skills for disadvantaged adults and supports NEET people into employment. Beneficiaries must gain at least one accredited vocational qualification during delivery or within two months of project completion.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be a UK charity that has been registered with the Charity Commission for at least three years.
- have an annual turnover of between £25,000 and £500,000.
Proposals are particularly welcome for projects that target people experiencing multiple deprivation or other groups demonstrably facing major hurdles to employment, such as women, people with physical, mental, or learning disabilities and refugees.
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Funding for projects from charities that equip disadvantaged people (aged 18 and over) with the necessary communication skills ready for employment.
