The Theatres Trust Small Grants Scheme provides grants of up to £7,500 for essential works to not-for-profit theatres. The aim is to help small theatres to make improvements to their buildings in order to support attendance at live performances.
Eligible projects include small capital works such as building repairs, installation of equipment and machinery as well as works to improve both physical and digital access.
This scheme will prioritise improvements to buildings that protect theatre use and remove barriers to participation and attendance. Your theatre must run a year-round programme of live performance, of no less than 30 performances a year.
Applications are accepted from not-for-profit theatres including local authorities or Town and Borough Councils that own and/or operate a venue.
