Registered charities and scientific institutions can apply to the Petplan Charitable Trust for funding to support animal welfare. Grants from the trust are for work that benefits the health and welfare of dogs, cats, horses and rabbits.
Animal Welfare grants of up to £20,000 are available. You can also apply for a People’s Grant – this is one award of £50,000 to deliver a transformational project and is decided by public vote. The trust also offers scientific grants for scientific studies and new researcher catalyst grants to encourage and foster new researchers.
