Women-led tech start-up businesses can apply to be part of the Open Horizons network – a collaborative European programme to support deep-tech and digital innovation. The programme is part of Horizon Europe, the EU research fund which is open to the UK as an associate country.
Businesses that are selected to participate in Open Horizons receive a package of support including funding of €10,000 for the inception phase which involves business model planning and up to €45,000 for the piloting phase which includes training, coaching and launching a real-world pilot. There is also a follow-on phase which provides support with long-term planning and investment.
Women-led start-ups that operate in deep-tech or digital sectors (AI, IoT, GreenTech, Blockchain etc) can apply.
