The National Churches Trust provides grants for church buildings across the UK. Applications are accepted for works to church buildings which are open (or plan to re-open) for regular Christian worship.
The following grants are available:
Large Grants – up to £50,000 for urgent structural repair projects and for projects to install kitchens and toilets
Small/Medium Grants – up to £10,000 to support small but urgent maintenance and repair issues or to carry out small investigative works
The grants can cover up to 50% of the total project costs – you will need to raise at least half of the project funding from other sources.
Refer to the National Churches Trust website for further details of the eligibility criteria and application deadlines for each level of grant.
