Livewell Foundation

The Livewell Foundation supports projects and initiatives that will help improve health and wellbeing, prevent ill health or reduce social isolation within Plymouth and South West Devon.

The foundation provides small grants up to £1,000 and large grants up to £10,000 for projects or initiatives that will:

  • improve health and wellbeing
  • reduce mental and physical ill health
  • reduce social isolation

The funding can be used towards

  • staff salaries
  • project activities
  • small-scale refurbishment
  • equipment
  • organisational development
  • core costs (for registered charities only)

The funding is for activities that will have a direct benefit on communities or individuals in Plymouth, South Hams or West Devon (PL1 to PL10 inclusive; PL16; PL19 to PL21 inclusive; TQ7, TQ8 and TQ10).

Applications are accepted from organisations that are doing work that is legally charitable, this includes registered charities as well as grassroots community groups and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations.

Applications for small grants may be submitted at any time [Opening again in Autumn 2024 for large grant applications]
