The Hedley Foundation provides grants to smaller charities that support people in need. The funding is for activities that fall within one of the following categories:
Youth support – raising the aspirations of disadvantaged young people and supporting youth projects through education, the arts, sport and adventurous activities
Disabled support – improving the quality of life of those living with a physical or mental disability
Supporting the elderly and terminally ill – improving the quality of life of the elderly and those receiving end of life care
Miscellaneous support – supporting other social welfare projects such as those for carers, the homeless and ex-offenders
You can apply if you are a small UK registered charity with an annual income below £1m. Most grants are below £5,000 but larger grants are made occasionally.
