Grant Schemes for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) administers several grant schemes for the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The schemes currently available are as follows:

Workplace Charging Scheme: a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points, for eligible businesses, charities and public-sector organisations.

Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grants for Landlords: funding for landlords and social housing providers to install electric vehicle chargepoints

Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grants for flat owner-occupiers and people living in rented properties: grants up to 75% of the cost to buy and install a chargepoint socket, up to £350 per grant.

On-street Residential Chargepoint Scheme: grants available to local authorities in the UK to help with the costs of procurement and installation of on-street charging points for residential use.

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Grant for Residential Carparks: grants for landlords and social housing providers who wish to install EV chargepoints in the residential carparks of their properties.

EV Infrastructure Grant for Staff and Fleets: grants to help SMEs with the costs of installing electric vehicle chargepoints for their operations and staff.
