Schools in the UK that wish to buy musical instruments and equipment can apply for funding through the EMI Music Sound Foundation’s Instrument and Equipment Awards.
The foundation provides grants up to a total of £2,000 towards the purchase of musical instruments and/or equipment for individuals who are in full-time education and schools which require the equipment to fund music education. There is also funding for courses and training opportunities for music teachers who work within schools.
Due to increased demand for funding the foundation will prioritise applications that focus on those most in need.
