CoSTAR is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to support research and innovation in the creative industries sector. It provides state-of-the-art facilities and expertise to support creative technologists, engineers and researchers to develop, test and innovate using emerging technologies.
There are currently two live funding opportunities from CoSTAR:
The Creative Intelligence Award – UK businesses can apply for a package of support including a £50,000 grant, studio time and a showcasing opportunity for work that uses AI to explore the intersection of creativity and technology
CoSTAR National Lab: Inclusive Multisensory Experience – UK-based creative companies with immersive experiences or events can apply for a package of support including a grant of £20,000 to £30,000 to explore the use of multisensory elements with audiences.
