BookRelief UK supports children’s and adult literacy projects in Devon and overseas.
You can apply for a grant for adult or children’s literacy initiatives such as library projects, storytelling activities, updating libraries in hospitals, mental health institutions, or buying books for a school project and updating a school library. BookRelief UK typically awards grants of between £300 and £700 but larger grants may be offered in exceptional circumstances. Each application is judged on its merits.
Applications are accepted from organisations with a dedicated bank account, this includes schools and libraries and many other institutions. Funding is not available to individuals.
