Adam Stansfield Foundation

The Adam Stansfield Foundation provides grants and support to help young people in Devon, Herefordshire and Somerset to participate in football. The foundation was set up in memory of footballer Adam Stansfield who sadly died of bowel cancer in 2010: he had played for Exeter City, Hereford United and Yeovil Town during his professional career.

Children and young people up to the age of 16 in Devon can benefit from the grants, facilities and educational support offered by the foundation. The funding is for activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle, specifically by enabling them to participate in football.

Grants are only available to provide access to football-related activities or equipment: this can include football training equipment for local primary schools and youth football clubs.
