The Aberdeen Group Charitable Trust has launched a new fund to support projects with a clear focus on financial capability, employability or nature. The New Ideas Fund is for not-for-profit organisations that want to try out new solutions to persistent problems.
Projects should have a national or regional impact with a clear focus on one or more of these priorities:
- increasing financial capability – helping people develop the knowledge skills and confidence needed to manage money effectively and make informed financial decisions
- creating pathways to good jobs – supporting people to overcome barriers to finding good jobs that offer fair pay, security and prospects
- championing the role of nature – helping people and communities to thrive by protecting and restoring natural environments
The New Ideas Fund is open to not-for-profit organisations including registered charities, social enterprises, CICs and CIOs.
You can apply for between £20,000 and £80,000. The grants can be used for specific, new projects only and cannot be used towards core running costs or for capital expenditure.
