In its next round of funding, the Woodroffe Benton Foundation will provide small grants for intergenerational projects.
The foundation is aiming to support projects that bring people of different generations together in purposeful, mutually beneficial activities. The aim is to promote greater understanding and respect between generations, provide enhanced opportunities for learning and wellbeing, and contribute to building more cohesive communities.
Grants are usually between £500 and £2,500: the priority is to contribute to core operating costs but grants for projects and capital costs can also be made.
Applications are accepted from small registered charities as well as educational institutions (schools, universities, etc.) whether or not they are a registered charity.
