Clean energy start-ups can apply to take part in the TechX Accelerator starting in February 2026. This is a 14-week programme of mentoring, business support and prototype development along with a grant of up to £50,000.
Your business must be developing a novel clean energy technology in the one of the following focus areas:
- carbon capture, utilisation and storage
- renewables and grid
- hydrogen and alternative fuels
- industrial decarbonisation
All technologies accepted to the programme need to have the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Technologies must have industrial applications: technologies solely with commercial or residential applications are out of scope.
Applicants must be committed to participating in the 14-week programme which includes three in-person weeks.

An accelerator programme including a £50,000 grant for innovative start-up businesses in the clean energy sector
