The Recycle Devon Reuse Fund provides small grants to support new and ongoing reuse projects across Devon, such as Repair Cafés, Libraries of Things and clothes swap events. The Reuse Fund aims to inspire and generate reuse initiatives which divert household waste from disposal or treatment by Devon authorities.
You can apply for up to £250 (inc VAT) for your reuse project which should do one or more of the following:
- increase the amount of household waste (from residents, not business) reused
- reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal
- increase participation and awareness of reuse projects
Please note: composting schemes are not eligible for this fund.
You can use the funding for essential project costs such as PAT testing, promotional items, tools, venue hire or one-off event insurance.
The funding is for projects in Devon (excluding Plymouth and Torbay).
Applications can be made by individuals, community groups, charities, Community Interest Companies and schools. District, Town and Parish Councils are not eligible to apply.
