Motability Foundation provides grants to charities and organisations that support the transport needs of people with disabilities. There are currently 5 grant schemes open to applications.
Apply by 15 December 2025 for:
- Better Access to Active Travel Experiences and Equipment
- Better Access to Wheelchairs and Mobility Aids (Large Grants)
- Better Access to Wheelchairs and Mobility Aids (Small Grants)
- Support for Travel Training Schemes
Apply by 31 March 2026 for:
- Expanding Access to Driving Tuition for Disabled People
Grants range from £50,000 to £1m depending on which grant scheme you are applying to. Grants are available to charities and organisations that provide transport or work towards making transport accessible to people with disabilities. Your organisation must be an incorporated charity, Company Limited by Guarantee, Community Interest Company or Community Benefit Society.
Motability also provides grants to individuals to help people with disabilities to get mobile, including support for driving lessons and an access to work grant.
