Funding is available from the James Tudor Foundation for charities providing health-related services. The funding is for registered charities with a primary focus that is health related or that have a specific health programme.
The foundation offers five funding programmes:
Health Education – for the dissemination of knowledge about specific health conditions or specialist training for health professionals
International – for international projects run by UK registered charities and deployed in developing countries
Medical research – for projects that have reached the pre-clinical phase of research as well as some early-stage, basic science research projects
Palliative care – to support the work of adult and children’s hospices [2025 update: currently closed]
Relief of sickness – for projects in support of both physical and mental health
You can apply for funding towards costs related to your service delivery, including staff costs. The priority is to support costs related to enhancing your services but ongoing costs will also be considered.
