Not-for-profit organisations working with adults over 65 years of age can apply for grants from the McCarthy Stone Foundation.
The funding is for activities in specific named locations listed by the Foundation: Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay are eligible and projects delivered in the more deprived areas of these locations will be prioritised.
You must be providing either direct one-to-one service provision to alleviate loneliness or group-based activity to address social isolation for people over 65.
Grants of between £3,000 and £7,500 are available for projects or core funding.
Applications are accepted from registered charities, community groups with a constitution or Community Interest Companies limited by guarantee (note that CICs cannot apply for core funding). Your organisation must have a turnover under £250,000 a year.
