Coronavirus (COVID-19) and school admissions
We are monitoring government guidance and currently considering the possible impact of the coronavirus on school admissions. Further information on the impacts of the coronavirus can be found here.
Arrangements and policies
On this page you will find information about the admission arrangements and policies for schools in Devon.
Local authorities are required to publish co-ordinated admissions schemes for the first entry to schools in their area. That means primary (reception, transfer from infant to junior schools, first to middle schools) and secondary (middle to high schools, primary to secondary schools and secondary to studio schools and university technical colleges).
If you are unsure of any terms or have a question about any aspect of these arrangements, please email admissions@devon.gov.uk marking your email ‘Admission Arrangements’.
These arrangements refer solely to state-funded schools.
