Smart gullies installation

We are pleased to announce the first of the smart gullies have been installed in Kingsbridge and Ottery St Mary, with further installations planned in Braunton and Exton. These devices are installed into selected gullies, to provide real-time information on water and silt levels. This information will be available to the flood risk team and highways team at Devon County Council, to improve their understanding of flood risk in these locations over the 1 year trial period. See the photos below of smart gullies being installed in Kingsbridge.

In Stoke Canon we have a number of gullies that routinely flood. How would we get a smart gulley installed ?

Hello, thanks for your interest in this project. The smart gullies are undergoing a trial period of 1 year in select locations. If the trial is successful, and further funding is available. we will consider installing smart gullies in further locations.
