Training and skills

Learn Devon

Learn Devon offers a wide range of free online and in-person courses for adults aged 19 and over. Courses include English, maths, digital skills, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and other skills and development opportunities to help you gain confidence and improve your employment prospects.

Train4Tomorrow

Train4Tomorrow provides funded Skills Bootcamps designed to help people develop new skills, change careers or progress in work. The courses have been developed with employers to help learners gain skills that are in demand.

Help with travel costs when looking for work

If you’re looking for work and receive certain benefits, you may be able to get a Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount Card.

The card offers discounted travel, including half-price train tickets, to help you attend interviews, training or work-related activities.

Eligibility depends on your age, the benefits you receive and how long you have been claiming them.
