You can apply to close rights of way temporarily if you are holding a special event, or need to carry out work on or next to one. Please print and complete the relevant form below, or contact the Public Rights of Way Team (see details below) for further information.
Please note – temporary closures of tarmacked/sealed public rights of way that involve a permit under the Devon Permit Scheme for Road and Street Works are dealt with by the Highway Coordination Team. Please see their webpage for further guidance and application forms.
