Recycling centres at Sutton Barton near Honiton and Seven Brethren in Barnstaple will both be closed for two days this month while essential work is carried out.
Sutton Barton recycling centre will be closed on Thursday (11 April) and Friday (12 April) while approach roads near the site are resurfaced.
From Saturday (13 April) the site will re-open to the public but motorists are advised to expect some delays on the roads caused by the roadworks.
On Monday 15 April, the road past the East Devon Business Park (off the A35) will be closed for resurfacing, so a diversion to access the recycling centre will be in place via Offwell.
Alternative recycling centre facilities at Sidmouth, Exmouth and Exeter will remain open as usual.
Seven Brethren recycling centre in Barnstaple will be closed for essential maintenance work on Monday 22 April and Tuesday 23 April.
Due to the scale of the work on the site it would not be safe for it to be open to the public during this period. The site will re-open to the public on Wednesday 24 April.
Alternative recycling centres at Bideford, Ilfracombe and Torrington will remain open as usual.
