Overnight road closures will be needed for two weeks on the A396 between Bampton and Tiverton for essential maintenance next month.
Resurfacing and drainage improvements are due to be carried out between Iron Bridge Cross and Exeter Inn roundabout from Monday 5 January to Saturday 17 January.
To enable work to be undertaken, this section of the road will be closed weekday evenings from 7pm to 6am, and Saturday nights from midnight until 6am. It will be fully open on Sunday 11 January after 6am.
The official signed diversion route for vehicles will be via the A396, A361, B3227 and the A396.
Every effort will be made to minimise disruption. Work is weather dependent which may change the schedule of the scheme.
