Fund description:
Sea-Changers makes small grants to UK based, marine conservation charities and not-for-profit organisations. Sea-Changers is particularly interested in grassroots projects which galvanise community action and in projects which increase the number of people taking action for marine conservation.
Grants up to £600 are available for activities which:
- address the root causes of marine conservation threats and challenges
- help to prevent or reduce negative impacts on UK coastal and marine environments and/or species
- add to the body of knowledge about marine conservation threats and challenges in the UK.
From Spring 2018, Sea-Changers has also introduced a Marine Litter Fund for projects to address marine litter issues. This will include support for beach cleaning activities and projects which consider potential recycling options for the material gathered.
