The Norman Family Trust provides grants for small, local charities and not-for-profit organisations in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The priority is to support applications from East Devon.
The Trust has reviewed its priorities and is increasing its support to organisations working in animal welfare and those looking after and protecting the natural environment, this means that it now focuses its funding on three core areas:
- Young people (up to age 25) – with sub-categories of mental health and learning difficulties, physical health and disability, sport, education and training, community and activities, social welfare
- Animals and Environment – for animal welfare and improving and protecting the natural environment
- Adults (aged 25+) – with sub-categories the same as for young people (above) but with the addition of end of life
The Trust will consider applications from Registered Charities, CIOs, CICs, non-profit sports clubs and other voluntary and community groups. The Trust continues to support schools by providing grants that would directly benefit the children of that school.
Most grants are between £1,000 and £5,000.
