The Henry Moore Foundation provides grants to support the growth and development of sculpture of all types, and funds research that expands the appreciation of sculpture.
Not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants for the following:
New projects and commissions – up to £20,000 for exhibitions, exhibition catalogues and sculpture commissions
Acquisitions and collections – up to £20,000 to acquire new sculptural works for collections, or to conserve sculpture in existing collections
Conferences, lectures and publications – up to £5,000 to publish a new book or journal, or to stage a conference or other event related to sculpture
Long-term research grants – up to £20,000 to support extended research projects requiring funding for more than one year, eg. a permanent collection catalogue
The foundation also offers research and travel grants of up to £2,500 to individuals. These grants are for sculpture historians, academics and conservators who are researching and publishing on sculpture conservation, production, history and/or interpretation. Grants are not available to support individual artists to develop their own work, and/or professional practice.

Applications are considered four times a year. The next deadlines are 1 September 2026 and 1 December 2026
